Instructions for using the three motor parameters of the soft starter
Design purpose
Solve the trouble of frequent modification of motor parameters by one soft starter to take three motors with different power respectively;
Use Instructions
The following parameters must be modified:
Function Code |
Name |
Parameter Description |
Setting Value |
A05 |
Number of sequential starts |
Selection of the number of control motors |
3 |
C03 |
Multi-function input In1(DI1) |
Terminal function selection |

A06 - A11 |
The First motor parameters |
The first motor parameters |
|
A12 - A17 |
The second motor parameters |
The second motor parameters |
|
A18 - A23 |
The third motor parameters |
The third motor parameters |
|
For Example
One 11kW/380V Soft Starter to run with 5.5kW, 7.5kW, and 11kW motors respectively, the motor parameters are entered into the A06-11, A12-17, and A18-23 parameters.
1、 When In1(DI1),In2(DI2) and COM do not conduct, the soft starter will use the first motor parameters;
2、The soft starter will use the second motor parameter when In1 (DI1) is conducting with Com In2 (DI2) is not conducting with Com;
3、When In1 (DI1) is not conducting with Com In2 (DI2) is conducting with Com, the soft starter will use the third motor parameter.
Test Method:
It is possible to use one motor to test different effects with motors by changing the parameters of the second and third motors, together with the on/off of In1 (DI1) and In2 (DI2).
